We make sure your digital copies are very clear and high-quality. While we don’t do full repairs on damaged photos yet, we can slightly enhance them to make them look their best. If a photo needs a lot of work, we can suggest experts who specialize in fixing old pictures.
No. Your originals never get mailed. A Lifevault Concierge picks them up, scans them with care, and returns them to you in person, in the same condition we received them.
It's easy. On Premium and Legacy, our system does the hard part by grouping similar photos together — you just answer a few simple questions to help put everything in the right order. On Starter, you organize and tag your photos yourself, at your own pace — and you can upgrade anytime if you'd like the grouping done for you.
Yes. Your vault is private and secure. It is not like social media; you are the only one who decides who gets to see your family stories.
That's exactly what Archive is built for. Each pickup covers a set number of scans — 100 with Small, 300 with Full, and 750 with Archive — and any extra photos are scanned at $0.79 CAD each. If your collection runs long, we can always schedule a follow-up pickup so nothing gets left behind.
During beta, every vault starts with a concierge pickup — it's how we set up your vault with you and make sure every photo is scanned and organized with care. Already have digital photos too? Once your vault opens, you can add them right alongside your scanned ones, so everything lives together in one place.
Yes. You always own your photos and your stories. While the vault is the best place to view them, you can download individual photos to your phone or computer whenever you want.
Most phone apps just give you a giant pile of thousands of random photos that are hard to search through. Lifevault gives every photo a safe home in your private family vault — and on Premium and Legacy, we group them into clear collections, like weddings, holidays, or birthdays, so you can actually find and enjoy your memories instead of just storing them.
Your vault stays yours. Nothing is ever deleted, and your family can keep viewing the photos and listening to the stories already in your vault. The only thing that pauses is adding new ones, which starts again the moment you come back. You can also download your originals to your own device anytime.
